I have a "Ela" pacemaker/defibrillator. It is not wireless. I only see my cardiologist four times a year to download information, to see if it has delivered a shock, etc. It always tells if the parameters have been changed and when they were changed. I can not see what the big hassle is for one to see a cardiologist four times a year and keep the devices away from hackers.
